Music Review

They say write about what you know. I don't think I'm bragging when I say that my husband and I know good music. That's why it's our responsibility to share our new favorite band with you...

Their most popular track is "Poison & Wine" — a few of you may recognize it from an episode of Grey's Anatomy. Oh, and they happen to be on tour opening for Adele...maybe you've heard of her?? (Okay, so we're probably a little late discovering this band!!)

This indie folk duo — Joy Williams and John Paul White — create some of the purest, most melodic harmonies I've heard. They also happen to be southern artists and infuse these elements into their music. It's difficult to put them in a box, though. One song sounds like bluegrass, the next is soulful and the next sounds exotic — but it works. Oh, and they happen to be great songwriters and also play a plethora of instruments.

Let me know what you think! And, you're welcome!
